  • U.S. owners of foreign entities are subject to some complex and and often confusing tax rules -- which vary greatly from one form of entity to another. Foreign professionals and most U.S. tax advisors are not aware of the complex tax reporting rules for U.S. owners of foreign entities such as trusts, corporations, partnerships and LLCs, or the comparative advantages and disadvantages of each type of entity. This workshop will explain the differences in plain English and is designed to accommodate questions and answers.

    CLE/CPE Continuing Education Credit

    Date, Time and Location

The seminar/workshop was held at the Las Vegas Hilton Resort on Saturday, October, 25th, 2008 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

A front page headline in U.S.A. Today pointed out that Las Vegas is the most popular single destination source in the U.S. Once known for its former ties to the underworld, it has been transformed into a Mecca of family entertainment.

Reserve Rooms as Early as You Can

Sleeping rooms at the Hilton Resort are just as fine as at more expensive hotels in Vegas, but their prices are more reasonable. Due to the small size of our seminar we are not able to get discounts on the rooms but their rates are less than some of the other Vegas hotels after taking conference discounts. To reserve a room, register online at http://www.lvhilton.com/ or call toll free 888-732-7117

    Registration Fees and Discounts

The price of the full day seminar is $425, which includes a copy of Tax Factors in Choosing a Foreign Entity for Your Business or Investments

Seating is limited because of the room size.

Current paid subscribers to the Offshore Press, Inc. International Wealth Protection Library and Newsletter will receive a discount of $50 from the price for the seminar -- including the early bird advance registration discount.

To reserve space, you can pay online with our secure Yahoo e-Store
or you can call Vern Jacobs (913-362-9667) with the payment information.

Special Discounts for a Spouse, Partner or Associate:

We have been asked about the fee for a spouse who merely wants to attend the meetings, but will not be utilizing a seminar manual or participating in the discussion. Since we aren't going to require anyone to prove their marital status, and because space is limited, we will treat each available seat in the meeting room as a paid registration.

A discount of $50 will be provided for the 2nd and subsequent registrations paid for by the same company or individual in addition to the first registration. For multiple registration discounts call Vern Jacobs at 913-362-9667.

Cancellations and Refunds:  Registration fees will be refunded in full in
the very unlikely event that we have to cancel the program due to unexpected circumstances or insufficient registrations. (Our last three programs were fully booked and it appears this one will be as well.)

If a student needs to cancel an advance registration before September 25, a refund of the registration fee will be made, less any discounts and less a $25 cancellation fee. After Sept. 25, refunds will be conditional on having additional registrations.
