This
program is for those who believe there is a substantial risk of
inflation, price controls and currency controls in the next few years.
Barring a massive political sea change in November, everyone with an
income above average and with above average assets will be at risk. One
of the solutions is to move some assets offshore and to even establish
a residence offshore. For some, expatriation may be the preferred
solution.
This program will teach you how to invest offshore, how to get a second
passport, where to get help, how to comply with the confusing U.S. tax
rules for offshore investments and for various degrees of expatriation
and more. After six 50 minute presentations, a full 50 minutes will be
available for the six instructors to answer your questions.
The
speakers include
- Erika Nolan, President of the Sovereign Society
- Bob Bauman, Legal Counsel for the Sovereign Society
- Eric Roseman, Investment Director of the Sovereign Society
- Marshall Langer, JD - International Tax Attorney & Author
- Thomas Fischer - Senior V.P., Jyske Global Asset management
- Vernon Jacobs, CPA. - International Tax Consultant & Author
Erika
Nolan (Executive Director of The Sovereign Society) & Robert Bauman
(Legal Counsel and Senior Editor for The Sovereign Society) will
jointly explain How to Build a New Life Offshore
Eric Roseman, Investment Director for The Sovereign Society will explain How to Escape from The Dow and the Dollar
Thomas Fischer, Senior Vice President of Jyske Global Asset Management
will show how to Take the Guess Work out of Investing Overseas.
Marshall Langer, International Tax Attorney, Professor and Author will review the options for securing a second passport.
Vernon
Jacobs, a CPA, author and international tax consultant will provide a plain English summary of the U.S. tax rules that
apply to U.S. citizens or residents with offshore investments,
employment or businesses.
All of the speakers will conclude with a 50 minute Panel to respond to questions from the audience.

find the Freedomfest conference to be "An intellectual feast in a fun
town…Three glorious days of “great ideas, great books, and great
thinkers.” My wife and I attended the 2008 and 2009 conferences and found tjem to
be the most intellectually exhilarating conference we have ever
experienced. There are speakers and debates on subjects as diverse as
politics and poetry, economics and education, the drug war and the civil war, poetry
and philanthropy, inflation and taxation -- to name just a few of
the diverse and stimulating topics. And this year you can be sure there
will be many presentations dealing with the current economic
crisis.
